Who provides the best fantasy baseball leagues?
Who provides the best FREE fantasy baseball leagues? Yahoo isn’t so great, have to pay for stat tracker, it’s the only one I’ve tried, are there other sites that are better?
I’ve used only two sites — CBS Sportsline and Yahoo. I like different features of both, but the edge probably goes to Sportsline because the data is more manipulable (although the free version of Sportsline is weekly lineup changes only, not daily).
I attended First Pitch Arizona last fall when this question was posed to a lot of fantasy baseball players, most more experienced than me. Their overwhelming favorite for a site to run a league from was the old TQ Stats website. But unfortunately TQ Stats had changed their interface and software recently and most hated it. Most said they have moved their leagues to CBS Sportsline, because the new TQ Stats site was so crappy. But there was some info that TQ Stats may have learned their lesson and they may be going back to their old configuration. Some also said that the guys who had made TQ Stats so good were splitting away and starting a new site, On Roto, that was supposed to be up this year, but I haven’t heard anything about it.
There’s also a really expensive site called All Star Stats, that is pretty good, but too expensive ($650/league).
